If you’re going to send the ebook to a Kindle via Calibre, make sure to convert to AZW3 format and not MOBI. The book triggers some bugs in the Kindle MOBI rendering that messes up the tables, while the AZW3 rendering is fine. Additionally, AZW3 has much better footnote handling, which I use here and there. ↩
