Trawling through the Micro.blog discover feed or the timeline of my preferred Mastodon instance feels like the intellectual equivalent of grazing…

Given my job these days I forget how much I enjoy throwing on a set of headphones, putting my favourite album on repeat, firing up Vim, and willing something into existing that didn’t exist before I started.

You gotta give Elon credit, he’s come up with a surprisingly novel, if expensive, method of finally driving people out of their social media silos and into the arms of the indieweb and fediverse…

Yesterday was the 45 anniversary of one my absolute favourite Pink Floyd albums: Animals. Much is made Gilmour’s virtuosity on the album but Waters’ writing is brilliant here, and would presage many great concept albums to come!

Finally started watched Ted Lasso and yup, I get the fandom! It really is delightful and reminds me of the spirit and energy that makes me love Community and Brooklyn 99.

You know, turkey is great, but there’s nothing like a home made turkey soup a couple of days later.

I had my first Americano from @transcendcoffee in nearly two years. It was pure, caffeinated joy!

I ordered a @ViaScreens matte screen protector for my @FrameworkPuter and being able to simply remove the bezel to clean the screen and then perfectly apply the film from edge to edge is amazing!

This really is one of my favourite times of the year.
